During the 7.0 installation (stage 2 during configuration) the Playlist directory is selected with browse. My Playlist directory name is ¹_playlist (Starting with the superscript 1).
Don't ask me why I do start the directory name with this character :-) , has to do with the sort order I want in Windows and on the SB3 when browsing the musicfolder.
This directory name was not accepted as valid.
Server version: SqueezeCenter-versie: 7.0 - 17707 - Windows XP - NL - cp1252

In what way does this fail? Doesn't it "stick" or isn't it accepted at all? 

Is this yet another occurence of bug 6621?

Hi Michael, It is not accepted at all. Can't continue configuration with the 'wrong' path.
