Description Brandon Black 2008-02-29 16:09:24 UTC
This is the favorites bug we've been wondering about. Favorites are fine in the DB, fine in the web UI, and fine in the player via the Favorites menu, but do not work when you hold down "3" on the remote for your 3rd favorite. They claim this worked on the previous SN.

Anoop can reproduce this, and so can I.

Favorites overlap

I am still experiencing this issue. Am I missing something?

Sorry Andy, I posted this to the wrong bug, please disregard my last comment.

I have another customer still seeing this issue. He wrote this email to me explaining how his buttons are working as of right now.

The mapping of favorite buttons is as follows:

Pressed Button ---- Channel Changed to
1 1
2 No response
3 25
4 No response
5 No response
6 35
7 44
8 185
9 197
Double or triple digit entries don't work at all.
Comment 5 Brandon Black 2008-03-13 16:23:19 UTC
The feature, as I understand it, involves holding down the button until the UI responds, not momentary presses, so there's no such thing as a 2- or 3- digit favorites shortcut.
Comment 6 Andy Grundman 2008-03-14 08:34:03 UTC
This is a different issue and is fixed. This bug was about pressing and holding "!" to start playing the first favorite.
Comment 7 Dan Evans 2008-05-01 10:27:12 UTC
We are getting multiple reports of this bug now, after the ABBA release. I also confirm that this is not working, testing here in Support.
