I changed the name of my Ray using Jive to "Tqueezebox". The new name did not appear on my Jive screen. Ray was connected to SqueezeNetwork  only. If I change the name of the Ray on SqueezeNetwork, the new name is seen on my Jive.

Interestingly enough, if I switch the music source to SqueezeCenter, SqueezeCenter automatically knows the new name is "Tqueezebox". If I switch back to SN, the default name of "Squeezebox" appears.

Using Jive FW 2081, Ray FW 22, and version SC 7.0 17682.

Andy, shouldn't the name get propagated through the player to SN?

I think this was fixed already, please retest.

Verified fixed, NOTE: you must wait ~30 seconds after any pref change before the resulting change will show up in the other service.

This bug has been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeNetwork!
