Description Mickey Gee 2008-02-26 13:56:24 UTC
The Jive Play button appears to work identically to the Go button (the one in the middle of the wheel) when on the player home menu. I found this confusing when I had paused my music and wanted to unpause it by pressing Play instead of the Pause button. Instead of unpausing the music, it selected the menu item highlighted. In my case, the item chosen was "Turn On Mickey's SB3" so my SB3 kept on being turned off.

Is this the behavior we want?

it's working-as-specified. I don't have a problem with it personally, but we can leave this open for post-7.0 discussion.

Yes. In places where the Play button doesn't have any special meaning, it should act as a go button.

When music is paused, I would argue that the play button has a special meaning. When music is paused, my preference is that press play unpauses the music.

I agree this can be confusing, but it works as intended.
