Description Michael Herger 2008-02-25 16:33:34 UTC
The case that somebody has more than 200 (default chunk size) items in a second level list, is small. But if he does, then the list will not work. This is imho another issue of wrong counts/indizes. The "Add to Favorites" in this case would be added after the first 200 items, with the remaining items following.

This issue might happen with eg. VA albums in large collections. It's easily reproducable by reducing BLOCK_SIZE in DB.lua to some small value.

I have 437 artists under Rock and I'm seeing some strange behavior when browsing my Rock artists with jive. Jive is acting wiggy for me. Is this the case that you are talking about ben?

root cause for bug 7330 is the wrong "Favorite" item. Same bug, better wording...

reopening this, as it is a separate issue from 7330.

add to favorites link needs to be tacked on to last chunk, not on first. Michael provided a patch on 7330 that addresses this, although we need to sort out what's getting munged in our request indicies before applying that to this I think.

These bugs are somewhat related, but there are going to be separate fixes needed for them.
