Description James Rome 2008-02-25 06:17:31 UTC
The new 7.0 help page for the remote control is missing critical documentation on the functions accessed by holding down the keys. For example, I was left clueless when I needed to change my slimserver so that I could try the new version. It never had an entry that said "hold down the left arrow button to access the network setup".

To whom should this be assigned, Dean

This text was lifted from the Squeezebox User Guide. It should probably be updated (and have additional information on SBC, SBR, etc...)

Other things are missing too. I have been unable to figure out how to save a Playlist in the new GUI. I can get it added to the things to play, but nothing brings up the screen that lets you give it a name and puts it into your playlist directory. And there is no help for this.

Pressing Help in the GUI brings you to your outdated Web page which also does not provide any assistance.

This didn't make it in time for 7.2. Brian: Please consider how to handle the various remote controls in the help for 7.3.
