Description jeff 2004-12-14 14:33:52 UTC
When using the *Browse Artists" feature with any skin the letter *T* appears
after the letter *M* in the index at the top and bottom of the artist window
and the letter *T* thereafter also appears in the appropriate place after the
letter *S*. I installed the December 14, 2005 nightly and the bug is still
there.
When I click the first *T* the page refreshes with the first artist under *M*.
The second *T* properly opens a page containing artists beginning with *T*.

Not a serious problem, but an annoyance nonetheless.

This probably should have gone to the discuss list first. It is most certainly a
dupe of several other bugs that have it reported slightly differently, even
though the end result is all in the way a song has been tagged. Look for
artists with doubled articles or punctuation (The La's, The The, etc). Articles
can be changed in the server settings, behaviour. Personally, I've hated the
who removal of stuff from the beginning. Punctuation should be removed or
sorted as punctuation, and Articles should either be sorted as such, or tag
approrpately (Tragically Hip, The).

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
