Rhapsody will not play from Favorites menu
Last modified: 2008-12-18 11:12:53 UTC
Adding a Rhapsody Channel to your SC7 Favorites, then attempting to play from the Favorites Menu, will generate the following error "There was an error loading the remote feed for : (Cannot request non-HTTP URL rhapd://ps.8647833.rdr)" Steps to Repro Click on Home > Rhapsody Free Trial > Rhapsody > Channels > All Channels Highlight a channels, then click on the Heart to add the channel to your favorites Click on Home > Favorites Notice the channel you just added is listed Click on the Channel to play it, notice error message SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 17630 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
Also, when you highlight the Rhapsody Channels, notice the Play/Add to Play list ICONS at the right are missing.
Created attachment 2949 [details] Patch Triode: This is another web XML favorites type issue. Does this patch look OK to you? There is a similar problem if you try to save a channel to favorites from the player UI by holding the Favorites button, but I haven't looked at that yet.
Triode: please see patch above.
James: please test using the IR Remote "favorites" as well. Test all Music Sources as well
Fixed in change 17676.
Andy - this works fine for my test cases. Don't understand the comment about press and hold a button to add a favorite? This plays the numbered favorite at present - I think we can only add via the web interface and going right on remotetrackinfo or trackinfo?
Press and hold Favorites on the remote also adds to favorites, this is where there are more bugs lurking.
Not on SC it doesn't it will just say not defined if there is no favorite of that number?
I'm not talking about the number keys, I'm talking about the Favorites button.
verified fixed in SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 17682 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
