Bugzilla – Bug 718
parsing cuesheet in flac tag
Last modified: 2008-09-15 14:37:04 UTC
Stephen Sweeney reported on the mailing lists that some programs (foobar200 in particular) will use a cuesheet with the CDTEXT metadata hack, which has been stuffed into a vorbis comment tag. http://article.gmane.org/gmane.music.equipment.slimdevices.general/16779/
Created attachment 223 [details] parse cuesheet tags from vorbis comment This patch will allow parsing metadata from a cuesheet (with the CDTEXT hack) that's been stuffed into a vorbis comment in a flac file. This assumes that the flac file in question already has a proper embedded cuesheet, and that the tracks match with the cuesheet in the tag. The cuesheet in the tag is only used for metadata. This was diff'd from trunk, but also applies and works against the 5.4.x branch.
I've applied the patch to CVS trunk - will run it by Vidur to see if it'll go in 5.4.1
This has been commited to 5.4 as well.
