I disable the Digital Inputs plugin and so the item does not appear in my Jive menu whilst connected to SqueezeCenter. If I connect to Squeezenetwork the item then appears in the menu even though the plugin is diabled.

You should be able to customize your home menu from the web UI to remove the Digital Input from the home menu on SqueezeNetwork.  Would this address your problem?

By web UI.. I take you to mean the SqueezeNetwork web site (and not the SqueezeCentre web UI, as i can't find any such setting there).
It would address my problem, but not in an elegant manner. Ideally I'd just be able to disable it once, and this would disable it from both SC and SN... but maybe this isn't possible.

This bug is being closed since it was resolved for a version of SqueezeNetwork which is now released!

If you are still seeing this bug, please re-open it and we will consider it for
a future release.
