In addition to press-and-hold-'+', which is non-intuitive to many users, the playlist trackinfo should have a "Delete (this track from the playlist" option. Somehow this seems more important for the Jive UI but is also applicable to the Player UI.

Agreed, for a song info viewed from the playlist, Remove should appear instead of Add.

trunk change 17746 has support for this, local SC items only. 

Still looking at similar support for remote URLs.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
