Description Glen 2004-11-30 15:43:55 UTC
SliMP3 player Firmware 2.3, SlimServer v5.4.0, using original SliMP3 SONY RM-
V201 remote control.

When a track is playing, I can press-and-hold the fwd and rew buttons to scan
forward / backward through the track.

After pressing PLAY to resume normal-speed playback, the fwd and rew functions
will not work a second time - the SliMP3 displays "Now Scanning 2x" but it
doesn't actually do anything.

fwd and rew functions are restored if the current track is restarted, or I
skip to another track.

This bug is repeatable i.e. once I navigate to another track I can use the
scan functions only once before it breaks again.

My apologies if this is posted in the wrong bug section, I don't know if it's
a hardware, firmware or software issue.

This appears to work for me with the latest slimserver.

This bug was marked resolved in Slimserver 6.1, which is several versions ago. If you're still seeing this bug, please re-open it. Thanks!
