Description Bart 2004-11-30 07:16:33 UTC
Currently, managing my music is slow and complicated using Slimserver. I
prefer to use the keyboard when possible and find using a mouse slow and error-
prone. Have you ever noticed how fast and accurate a keyboard user can be?
Would it be possible to assign consistent keyboard shortcuts to all navigation
in Slimserver?
Would it also be possible to integrate it into the shell in Windows, so that I
could use Windows Explorer or Find Files, then have the option to add to the
current playlist?

It's available in the 6.1 branch for Shoutcast, RadioIO and the Slimdevices' Picks.

Sorry, my comment was intended for another bug... (is it normal bugzilla changes to another bug when I
add myself to the CC list?).

But as I'm already here... Keyboard navigation in web pages is a problem.

A while back I wrote a small perl script to add music files from the explorer's context menu. The main
problem with this is that you have to somehow match your local path to the server's path, you can't
submit files from outside the server's music folder etc. I think this is not something that can easily be
done, especially if it should be cross-platform.

Dean doesn't work here any more :)

Unassigned bugs cannot have a priority.
