Description Barry Gordon 2008-02-03 14:07:54 UTC
If I have a playlist which contains Internet stream pointers I can open it fine in the web system and see what the stream names are.

Over the CLI interface the command 'playlists tracks 0 10 playlist_id:2821 ?' where 2821 is a valid playlist id does not work. The following is observed:

If the list contains only song pointers, it works fine.

If the list contains only stream pointers it rturns the correct count for the number of pointers but no data after the count. If the data is not available it should return a 0 count.

If the list contains a mixture of song pointers and stream pointers then the system returns an incorrect count and some of the song pointers. in my case there were 10 songs pointed to and one stream, the stream being first. It returned a count of 8 with there being 7 data items of the 10 songs expected.

Here is a sample play list that contains only stream pointers that fails:

Thanks, Barry. We'll look at this right after 7.0.

That is a comment I have never heard before. Normally bugs are addressed very very quickly. I guess there ia a big push to get 7.0 out. Then again this is a bug in the current 7.0

change 17911 - as the playlists query doesn't need a client, querying stream metadata failed, requiring a client for the string display

Verified fixed in 7.0.1 - 19325

Berry: Please reopen the bug if you still see the issue.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
