Description Robert Gregg 2008-02-02 16:47:55 UTC
I have several 88.2kHz 24-bit WMA files that play correctly, however are displayed by the Slim Devices and by Squeezecenter/Slimserver as being a 22.7kHz file.

Windows displays it properly as 88.2kHz .
Comment 1 Blackketter Dean 2008-02-02 20:20:58 UTC
Thanks, Robert. Assuming that they play properly, we'll fix this cosmetic issue after 7.0 ships.

BUG6920

Reference bugs 4712 / 4780 - related but not duplicate.

Tested with SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 17793 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 (release version)

WAV files encoded at 88.2kHz 24-bit WMA displayed & played properly for me. See attached

Robert: Would it be possible to have you attach one of the WAV files (or a short sample) that you see the problem on; as well as a screen shot of where you are seeing the issue.

Correct WMA image

I should take Dean's advice, and learn to read all the words in a bug. While WAV files work just fine, WMA files are reporting the incorrect information just like the bug states :)

WMA files Play just fine, it's only the information that is not displayed properly.

First 2 images are reference only, showing correct information. 3rd image is incorrect
Comment 5 Andy Grundman 2008-03-25 09:47:59 UTC
This is probably a bug in Audio::WMA, so I need a test file in order to fix this bug.
Comment 6 Andy Grundman 2008-03-25 09:48:43 UTC
James: please attach a test file.
