Description Clive Backham 2008-02-02 02:59:37 UTC
I have seen this problem on r1730.

When browsing artists, when you show the list of an artist's albums, there is normally a "Play All" option at the top and an "Add to Favourites" option at the end of the list. When the artist in question has exactly 2 albums, these options are missing.

I note that they are present when an artist has exactly 1 album. Is it possible that there was an intention to omit the "Play All" option when there is only one album, but somehow the count is out by one?

That's right, Clive.

Sounds like an off by one error. :)

come to think, I believe I've seen some count errors in logs recently.
Comment 3 KDF 2008-02-03 21:06:24 UTC
then again r1764 seems to be ok at least for two albums under an artist.

Please make sure you're using the latest SC build as there have been changes to the browsing code on the SC side. Seems to be working for the first few artists and genres I've found.

Michael's fine work from last week making some sanity out of our chunking, counting, splicing return code from SC->Jive has fixed this in every spot that I used to see this issue.

Make sure you have an up-to-date SqueezeCenter and retetst (note: for the most part this is a SqueezeCenter and not Jive issue, but can't hurt to have both up to date).

IMO this is no longer an issue.

Just updated to SC7.0 build 17150 and Jive f/w r1763, and this issue is now fixed.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
