Description Barry Gordon 2008-01-31 08:21:15 UTC
When dealing with a remote stream, the Slimserver has some sort of cover art / icon it has gotten from the stream source. Could a http get type request similar to the one used for cover art be used to get the current remote icon? The use of 'current' as the cover locator in the HTTP get should IMHO return the remote icon if a remote stream is playing.

Sounds like a good idea. Will take a look at it post 7.0.

change 19440 - adding remote stream support to /music/current/cover.png, including resizing etc.; the downloaded artwork is cached locally

I have tried the cover art retrieval using both

GET /music/current/cover_100x100_S.png HTTP/1.0
and
GET /music/current/cover_100x100_S.jpg HTTP/1.0

I never get the Antenna tower but rather the musical note. Is that what I should expect? Do you know opf any station that does really show cover art so I can test it

Tested on last nights 7.1 build
