Description Kevin Pearsall 2004-11-23 16:40:54 UTC
SlimServer v5.4.0
Windows Media Player 10 installed
Windows XP SP2

STR:
- Go to Internet Radio and Playlist Files
- Try to tune in to: http://www.antfarm.co.za/clients/goodhopefm/goodhopefm_22.asx
- Get a script error dialog
- Click yes, and the current playlist on the right looks all screwy, and doesn't
play anyhow.

This asx playlist doesn't play, Vidur says because of an unescaped & in the
playlist. But if you extract the mms URL from the playlist it works... (But
still gripes about a script error)

Comment 2 Kevin Pearsall 2004-12-03 13:04:55 UTC
This isn't a dupe... 679 is about the unescaped characters in the asx file
parsing, this bug is about the script error you get when you use tune in under
windows.

aha! trying to trick me by being properly specific ;)
sorry about that.

I thought I had seen this, but can't seem to recreate now. Are you using a skin
other than the Default? What is the specific script error?

Kevin, go ahead and check in your fix for 5.4.1 and the trunk.

Turns out that the problem manifests itself even for the Default skin in
slimserver.exe, but not in a browser (IE or Mozilla-based). Still trying to
figure out what's different for slimserver.exe (which is IE-based).

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
