Description sbjaerum 2008-01-24 14:07:28 UTC
I experience that a random small number of artwork images are missing when browsing the albums. After a restart another random set of images is missing. If I go into song details for an album that is missing the image, and select 'Show Artwork', the image shows up.

After a restart, a previously missing image likely shows up, so I think the image files themselves are OK.

Also all the images are present in SC.

This issue has been present for a while, now at r1603.

Ben: Can you take a look at this?
Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2008-01-26 17:34:47 UTC
Probably better for Richard...

I see this on the desktop version of Jive also (WinXP).

When the first missing artwork is encountered I see this error message:
231914:162154 ERROR (...\7.0\jive\src\pkg\debug\lua\jive\slim\SlimServer.lua:405) - _getArtworkThumbSink(997, 56) error: connect closed

For subsequent missing artworks, I see two error messages:
232023:230940 ERROR (...e\7.0\jive\src\pkg\debug\lua\jive\net\SocketHttp.lua:387) - SocketHttpQueue {DELL1}:t_rcvHeaders.pump:closed
232023:230941 ERROR (...\7.0\jive\src\pkg\debug\lua\jive\slim\SlimServer.lua:405) - _getArtworkThumbSink(3212, 56) error: closed

Steinar thanks that debug is helpful. It maybe the SC has timed out the socket and Jive has not noticed.

Let me know if there is more I can do to track this down.
This issue has a quite random nature, so I can imagine it is not trivial to reproduce and fix...
Comment 6 Richard Titmuss 2008-01-29 15:51:44 UTC
An artwork problem is fixed in r1685, this would only happen when switching between servers (for example SC and SN). I don't think this is the problem Steinar reported, will look into this more tomorrow.
Comment 7 Richard Titmuss 2008-01-30 09:59:04 UTC
Fixed in r1703.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
