Bugzilla – Bug 672
.mp3 required in streaming address
Last modified: 2008-12-18 11:52:22 UTC
Prior to release 5.4.0 .mp3 was not required in the streaming address. http://x.x.x.x:9000/stream This is a problem when streaming to many businesses that block addresses that include .mp3 in the address. Is it possible to revert to the way it worked in the prior releases on perhaps include another format to get around firewall restrictions?
this is due to the recent change to allow skins to be referenced without the requirement for the trailing \. Note, this also broke the use of the http://server:9000/status? url as well.
I tried this out with the nov 25 build and it seems to be working again.
Please verify and reopen if it's still an issue.
There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
