Bugzilla – Bug 6674
.ram radio URL in Favorites gives "Invalid XML feed"
Last modified: 2011-11-06 23:24:58 UTC
Adding a R5 Real Audio stream as a favorite gives:- There was an error loading the remote feed for : (Invalid XML feed - didn't find ! ) The same URL works fine when 'Tuned In' and using Real Player on a PC. Log entry:- [08-01-19 11:26:29.6770] Slim::Formats::XML::xmlToHash (685) Error: Failed to parse feed because: [Invalid XML feed - didn't find <xml>!] [08-01-19 11:26:29.6772] Slim::Formats::XML::xmlToHash (689) Error: Here's the bad feed: [rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/radio5/live/r5_tl_int_g2.ra?BBC-UID=e4d787dfbaeceb276ea4fe8a90401e9f75a42a9150b060 031baa30db322798db&SSO2-UID=] [08-01-19 11:26:29.6775] Slim::Buttons::XMLBrowser::gotError (165) Error: While retrieving [http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/live/surestream_int.ram]: [Invalid XML feed - didn't find <xml>!] see http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42439 for additional info. Apparently, if you edit Favorites.opml and add a type="audio" to the Radio 5 entry - it will play.
Hm, is this a bug in the AlienBBC plugin?
