Holding down the + button for an extended period should add the required track "next" in the playlist?
At the moment I can find no way to add tracks/albums after the currently playing track.

And while I'm at it... the button + should be labelled +/- as it is also used for deleting tracks from a playlist.... but I guess it's a bit late for that now.
