Description Jim Carlton 2008-01-16 21:57:29 UTC
Jive build R1459 on MPQ hardware
SqueezeCenter 16239 running on Linux (Ubuntu Gutsy)

I cannot access Local Radio (Internet Radio > RadioTime > Local Radio). I get the message "Visit radiotime.com/sb" when I select Local Radio. I can access Local Radio directly from an SB3 using IR remote and via the SqueezeNetwork browse UI. I verified that my SN account info is correct in SqueezeCenter and verified that RadioTime knows the login information, as well as my location.

This works for me, sort of. I entered my RadioTime username in settings in my Squeeze Network account. I entered my SN account info into SC7 (15738) and verified SC had access to my SN content, it works. Then I tried to access Radiotime, it didn't work from Jive or with SB3 or web ui. Then I entered my Radiotime username in SC settings under advanced -> Radiotime, now it works with web ui, SB3 remote, and Jive.

Jim could you enter your username in that preference at home and give this another try?

Andy, shouldn't this work via SN?

The RT username preference is not synced between SC and SN.

Very well then. Thanks Andy. Jim I'll close this as invalid, if you'd like feel free to re-open and adjust the summary to reflect a feature request, if you'd like to see that feature.

The expected behavior for all account settings on SN is that they should sync to SC7, including the RadioTime username. The original version of this bug was filed because the RadioTime username was missing on SC7; as the account information for Pandora, Rhapsody, Slacker and MP3tunes came over, I assumed that RadioTime did as well.

I haven't verified Live365 or RadioIO, but they should sync as well.

The original version of this bug was corrected by entering my RadioTime username in the appropriate plug-in settings page.

RadioTime is the only service that is not dependent on SN so that's why it works differently. Unfortunately syncing the Radiotime username is not a trivial fix due to the different way the prefs are stored.

This also affects the Last.fm scrobbling prefs, those are not synced at the moment either.

Bumping to 7.0.1.

Fixed in 7.0.1 change 18561. Can be tested against test SN.

Verified fixed in 7.0.1 - 19325 r2409 - r23
