In the Album view in the web interface, if you have an album with only one track, it appears with no individual track entry.  You get the overall album view, with the album name, artist, and total time, but nothing about the one track.
The track appears to be in the database fine, and you can see it through the front panel on the Squeezebox if you browse to the album.  You can hit the play button, and it will show up in the right hand frame for player.

Seen in both Default and Fishbone skins.
