r1404 (from 12 Jan SC 7 nightly)
This is probably related to the "networking" issues briefly mentioned on the forum but I didn't see anything in here so I thought that I'd add a test case/observation.

Left player in cradle with the Clock stopped screensaver active.
Next morning after the SC/SB3 is turned on an playing (by a full remote because it needs to also power on the amp, etc.) and it wouldn't display any now playing information, etc.  A blank playlist, now playing also blank, etc.  I powered off/on the controller and most of the menu options didn't show up.  Fortunately the Setting/Advanced/Software Update option still existed.  I choose that and it downloaded and applied the r1404 firmware update (again, it was running r1404 already).  After the reboot this time all menu options were back and the controller was performing normally.
