Bugzilla – Bug 6513
WPA / WPA2 Personal: Setting passphrase to more than 63 characters shows garbage characters and crashes the Squeezebox
Last modified: 2008-12-18 11:42:13 UTC
When entering more than 63 characters as a WPA / WPA2 Personal passphrase shows garbage characters. Even though too long (64 characters), the passphrase is accepted and used to successfully establish a connection to the Access Point. Later on, when returning to the setup screen to change the passphrase, the Squeezebox crashes and can only be recovered by resetting it to the factory defaults.
