Hi,

Its nice to hace alarm clock, which my old dream, but currently I use either a Harman Kardon AVR-200 or a mobile desktop speaker. So the flow of things,
Alarm clock is on start the web radio, amplifier or speaker is off, so I continue to sleep. If accidentaly (and waste energy all night and cause heat on amplifier and global warming on antartic)I left AVR-200 on, then it continues as follows:
Radio were used as tune in with slimserver. I close down the macbook, so it start to connect slimserver and fail... Even though radio station is available.
So it is better to wake up and fully configure the setup and additional equipment, for example desktop speaker only have a manual on/off, open macbook (hoping it does not goes power save) and then set up the radio station, then set up alarm and then turn off the radio and snooze until the alarm. :)

Could I hope some improvement? E.g. Harmony 1000 database knows HK AVR-200...

I think one of felix's projects at

http://www.gwendesign.com/slimserver/dev_hard_and_software.htm#powerswitchii

would be the thing you are looking for, but it requires use of a soldering iron.

Thanks! I bookmarked the page and take my chances sometimes next year, soldering is no problem, even though take more time than shopping a 3rd party accessory.
