For example is latest sw fix the box power down bug, when connection lost to slimserver? I had to remove the cable today as well to make it happen. Radio played further instead of standby or squeezebox restarted, but I just want to pause, in fact power down the device. If there is no stop for stream, but only pause is possible (which would be nice to recover even when slimserver is lost before the next play) remove the power button from the remote. At least display some feedback on the box that user action is in progress.

Sorry, but my time is more valuable than wasting after each download for checking the bugs for correction. I could read bugzilla and release note though. Also version number of box firmware is available to compare. I have only few days before I return the device and I plan to write an internal review already today.

However, as the reporter points out, there is no Easily Accessible Web Link to the Firmware Change log.

The Squeezebox (2/3/Receiver) firmware release notes should be included with the SqueezeCenter release notes, as those two go out together.

The Squeezebox Controller release notes should be available elsewhere and updated when we push out a new release of that firmware.

I'm not sure that I'm the right assignee for this bug... should this be a change to the 'Status' page in SC so that when it lists someones firmware version, it links them to a document somewhere that describes the firmwares changes? 

Who takes care of the rest of our release notes? Marketing now? 

The notes are still in SC, and engineering is still responsible for maintaining them.

I do think that the release notes should probably move to the wiki eventually, but let's get them updated in the current location first.
