Description Mark Miksis 2007-12-26 11:30:06 UTC
The new SC RPM supports SELinux with the use of semanage. This works with CentOS/RHEL 5, Fedora 7 and Fedora 8. CentOS 4 (and derivatives such as ClarkConnect 4.2) do not include semanage. SELinux must be turned off for the SC RPM to run.

This is a known issue and IMO, not needed for 7.0. I wanted to document it here in case someone comes along and knows of a good fix.

The only fix involves creating a custom policy and building it; either on the target machine, or it might be possible to build a binary module and distribute that.

Either way, I think it would be quite a lot of trouble for minimal return, and would suggest closing this bug as "won't fix".
