Description Stuart Hickinbottom 2007-12-21 05:38:02 UTC
I have my cache and prefs moved to other locations in the filesystem so that the SqueezeCenter installation can remain unchanged and be easily replaceable. I do this with the startup options --prefsfile --prefsdir --cachedir.

However, the web interface is still showing the default locations of those things under settings->status:

SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - TRUNK - Linux - EN - utf8
Server IP address: 192.168.100.3
Perl Version: 5.8.8 i686-linux-thread-multi
MySQL Version: 5.0.44-log
Platform Architecture: i686-linux
Hostname: discovery.hickinbottom.com
Server Port Number: 9000
Total Players Recognized: 2
Cache Folder: /usr/local/squeezecenter/server/Cache
Preferences Folder: /usr/local/squeezecenter/server/prefs
Plugin Folders: /usr/local/squeezecenter/server/Slim/Plugin,/usr/local/squeezecenter/server/Plugins

It is the "Cache Folder" and "Preferences Folder" that I believe are incorrect (the other entries look OK).

This is with svn 15529.

should be fixed in change 15546. please reopen if you have any issues.
Comment 2 Stuart Hickinbottom 2007-12-22 02:30:20 UTC
I can confirm that fixes it for me. Thanks.

This bug is being closed since it was resolved for a version which is now released! Please download the new version of SqueezeCenter (formerly SlimServer) at http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html

If you are still seeing this bug, please re-open it and we will consider it for a future release.

For some reason I don't get the Preferences Folder location listed on the Status page when running the Windows compiled EXE version of SC7. I see it on Windows servers that I run from the SVN'd Perl code, but not in the compiled version. Is that expected? See screen cap.

This is with the 7.0 release version of SqueezeCenter on WinXP Pro.

sorry...this was trunk only.
as such, it's only in 7.0.1

Reduce number of active targets for SC
