This is a feature request, I didn't know where exactly to put it.
It would be great to fast forward within a song, just like is possible in any media player / cd player, now it's only possible to jump to the next song instead of just skipping the intro.
It would be great also to incorporate this feature into the Jive platform.

press and hold fwd or rew.  there is already a request to have this existing slimserver feature ported to Jive. Note that this is only available for native formats. anything going through an external codec is outside of slimerver control except for killing the process.  native formats include mp3, wav, flac with ogg and wma fwd/rew under investigation (diffitulties with the nature of the formats has caused delays)
