Need Blinking ">" (or some equivalent) on All Menus

When using Jive remote to access SqueezeNetwork content without SqueezeCenter, it will sometimes take many seconds, like 5-10 seconds, before the player completes downloading and begins playing music or shows a new menu. In the meantime, there's no visual indicator that the download is in progress. On a SB3, there's a thing that spins to visually indicate that something is going on. On Jive, there's nothing.
SB3 doesn't actually 'download content from SN'. Are you just talking about clicking on menus? The same situation applies to SC as many menus come from SN. On Jive the little arrow icon currently pulses a bit when it's waiting for a response, maybe that just needs to be more obvious?
I took a look and tried to be more specific .... It turns out that the blinking ">" doesn't blink all the time. For example, it doesn't blink on any of the Radio IO stations, the Radio IO list, a station within the PodcastAlley Top 50, and one of the Natural Sounds like Brainfluid or Fire. I'm sure there are others, but I didn't spend time getting them all. However it blinks on some menus, like getting a list of the PodcastAlley Top 50, or getting a list of the Natural Sounds. So it's an issue on some menus but not all of them. It's more noticable when directly connected to SN for some reason. (I renamed the title to be more specific and less confusing.)
Mickey is this a dup of bug 6307? At the moment menu items with artwork provide no visual wait indication, and this will be fixed in that bug. Or are you saying sometimes the > does not spin?

This is not exactly a dup of 6307. 6307 talks about items without ">", which I had is part of this bug. But some items with ">" do not wink while you're waiting. They're usually specific radio stations that you press the play button. For example, with any Radio IO stations if you press play, the > doesn't wink, but if you press the Go button it does. Also true under Staff Picks. Any radio station there doesn't have the > wink if you press play.
ok, so > should not blink when you press play, instead you should get a confirmation popup. maybe SC is not sending these for radio stations?
I am seeing the confirmation popup. However, there's seemingly a longer delay on SN between popup and music, and it looks like Jive is hung.
Ok, so this sounds like an SN performance issue wrt Jive.
Will review the outstanding SN bugs after 7.0 ships.
