Description Jerry 2007-12-07 22:10:45 UTC
If you have an album that is a whole-CD FLAC file (all tracks in one file AND you are using a cuesheet AND a track is referenced in a playlist, the track title referenced in the playlist is replaced with the album name in the database.

For example in the playlist below, one entry references track 8 ("Revolution")from the Escapology CD from Robbie Williams. After re-scanning music and playlists (with full erase), the track title is displayed as "Robbie Williams - Escapology". This happens with any track that uses the time code reference format (#1813.73333333333-2159.98666666667)

I believe the playlist scanner is ignoring the #EXTINF record with the track name and just naming the base file name in the file reference the track title.

-------------------------

Sample playlist:
   #EXTINF:-1,Danny's All-Star Joint
   F:\Music Flac\Albums\Rickie Lee Jones\Rickie Lee Jones\07 - Danny's All-Star Joint - Rickie Lee Jones.flac
   #EXTINF:-1,Revolution
   file:////media-server/Musicflac/WholeCDs/Robbie%20Williams%20-%20Escapology.flac#1813.73333333333-2159.98666666667

Matching value for tracks from database:
Danny's All-Star Joint from Rickie Lee Jones by Rickie Lee Jones <--- OK (is FLAC, but not whole-CD)
Robbie Williams - Escapology from Escapology by Robbie Williams <--- NAK (is whole-CD FLAC file)

Is this possibly the same issue as in #2064. I did notice that if I create and download a new playlist with with tracks from whole-CD albums, that they don't have the #EXTINF record. Should these records not be there?

The behavior still exists even with the #EXTINF records removed.
