FW Version:  1 r1084 -- The MP candidate Richard sent out.

Once the Jive sets itself into the Software Update page, it is very hard for regular users to get out of it.  Users are pretty much forced to update to the latest.

There is no garantee the users will like the latest from the network as the one they are using.  Unless there is a bug that users want fixed, or features added, it may not be a great idea to force an upgrade.

Has anyone been burnt by an upgrade?  This user had.

home key works.  I've been expecting that the automatic jump to the update screen would go away when it came to consumer release. Maybe replaced with a popup notification.

This is deliberate. The version of the Jive firmware must be compatible with the SC version. The user can press and hold left to disconnect from the player and refuse the firmware upgrade if they want.
