Description Mickey Gee 2007-12-04 10:36:07 UTC
On Jive build for Dec 4 2007, if there are lots of wireless networks then the network highlighted will be displayed over the "Choose your wireless network" prompt at the bottom of the screen.

This can be reproduced by getting into the Jive initial setup mode, and going to the Wireless Network screen. Leave the Jive at this screen. If there are 8 or more networks listed, the highlighted one will be displayed at below the eighth network displayed in about 5-10 seconds. Since there's room to show only 8 networks at once, it's displayed over the prompt.

Photo of issue will be attached.

Mickey was this the MP or trunk build? If it was the MP build could you test on trunk as this may already have been fixed.

bump.
Comment 4 Mickey Gee 2007-12-06 16:22:25 UTC
I saw it on the MP build. I just updated to trunk r1070 (December 6th) and I still see the same bug. It happens after a couple of refreshes of the available networks list. Can happen on the very first time, but usually the second refresh of the list.

On second thought, the trunk version shows a slightly improved version. The photo I attached previously showed the bug displaying two lines too many, with the highlighted item on the bottom.

The latest trunk r1070 shows only one line too many, with the highlighted item being that line. The unhighlighted line is no longer shown.

Mickey could you retest with the latest build, it's tricky for me to recreate this one. If it's still broken I'll have to get out all my APs for testing!!

No longer seen. Verified with today's build r1397. Marking as fixed.
