I am able to connect Jive using self assigned or static IP however.  See similar bug 15.

Steven could you get a wireshark sniff of the dhcp traffic? thanks.

Steven I've looked at these captures and all the traffic appears to be encrypted? What was the SSID you were using, and can you capture on an unencrypted network? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure "QA Mac mini" was the SSID.  I don't think I had any encryption on.  How do these captures compare to the ones attached to bug 15?  They should be similar.

Yes, Squeezebox Controller with r2097 is not able to get an IP address from a Macintosh with network sharing on.

Works for me with Squeezebox Receiver firmware 23 :)
