In the Default skin, I performed the following steps:

1. Perform an advanced search for Artist "REM".
2. The search results are displayed, and the search form is hidden.
3. Click on Advanced Search in the breadcrumb trail to reveal the search form again.
4. Click Clear button

The Clear button has no effect - the search form values (i.e. artist="REM") is still displayed, and the search results are still displayed too.

we've had this discussion before.

merging this with bug 4797 as the scope already covers this issue.
