Description Matt Wise 2007-11-21 18:58:32 UTC
In our house we have two access points with the same name. Any modern system easily picks the AP that it gets the best signal with. I walked through the house with the Jive while playing music through a Transporter. Once the Jive switched access points (I got to within 5 ft of the 2nd access point, and saw the signal bar go from 1Bar to 4Bars) the unit became fairly unresponsive. I could not click on any menu items, adjust any music, etc. I could not even access the Settings menu.

Both AP's are on the same network, and neither of them hand out DHCP ... DHCP is handled by a 3rd system on the network.

Walking back down to the 1st Access Point allowed the unit to become responsive again, as if nothing had gone wrong.

I haven't seen this in the office and I only have a single AP at home.

QA: can you please reproduce?

Ross, could you have a look at this? Thanks.
