Description Dale Phurrough 2004-10-12 22:54:03 UTC
This bug was uncovered when I verified the bugfix 590 in the nightly build
SlimServer_v2004-10-12.exe.

I have an album ripped in WMA where the songs on that album are made by
multiple artists. Not all songs are made from the same set of artists. When
you use the web UI to:
    browser artists
choose the artist which is common to all songs (aka the main albumn artist)
    choose the album
result:
The songs are not listed in track order. Instead the songs appear to be listed
in alphabetic order of the artist(s) string, then by track #. So if 5 songs
are by the main artist, they are listed in track order. Then after those 5,
the next alphabetic artist(s) string and its subset of tracks in order. And so
on.

I suspect you'll want to sort this list not considering the artist(s) string.

For example, if you have track, songs, and artists of:
1 song1 artist1; artist2
2 song2 artist1; artist3
3 song3 artist1; artist2
then when you browse the album the list will appear
1. song1
3. song3
2. song2

Dan says that this is fixed in the 6.0 beta. Please verify and reopen if it's still an issue.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
