I have tagged my compilation with the "Artist Album" tag to be "Various Artists" and checked the corresponding box in the preferences to group them. When I browse to "Home > My Music > Artists > Various Artists" no single album is displayed.

On a sidenote:
I rescanned my library and the link to display the scanning process and the one to display previous scan details do just nothing in this release (using FF 2.0.0.9)

Little update:
Regardless what I try for settings under Settings > My Music > Compilations I cannot get my compilations grouped under "Various Artists" in this version. This worked before with an older revision.

The problem was solved by dropping the entire database and rebuilding it. Thanks
