Description Blackketter Dean 2007-11-11 08:05:51 UTC
Pressing and holding the power button is confirmation enough.
Comment 1 Ben Klaas 2007-11-11 12:14:31 UTC
Hmmm...okay. Press-hold is only 2 seconds though, which IMO is short enough that people will be turning it off by accident.

I'll take out the confirmation and see if there's any fallout from that.

Well, they'll only make that mistake once. Let's see how it goes.

heh... "they'll only do it once". that applies to a lot of things.
2 seconds might seem on paper to be a touch short. I think the rockbox firmware I'm used to on my Sansa is about 2, which feels nice. So, confirm to me is just an extra step. it's not like the bootup time is THAT bad if they make a mistake. I can say that because I'm nto the one who will get sued by disgruntled trolls :)
