I use it this way all of the time. Can you please try to be more specific?
What format? Is each album in its own folder? are they from itunes, musicmagic? Have you done a wipe and rescan to confirm, etc. Have you approached the forum for some help with possible configuration snags?

I checked back on this, changing the setting will trigger a rescan on it's own. Did that rescan complete fully?

I am using flac. All music is in directory tree under My Music i.e. My Music
/ FLAC / Genre / Artist / Album.

I switched to 7.0 yesterday, previously I was using 6.5.4 and Group Discs
worked. I assume Group Discs works in the same way.

SqueezeCenter Settings / My Music / Group Discs is set to "Treat multi-disc
sets as single album".

Music is tagged such that Album Tag is the same for group discs. Discnumber
tag = set to 1 or 2 (or 3) as appropriate.

My directory scan / index completed without problems.

I have not approached the forum because this is not a set up issue it is a
bug report; as stated above this worked perfectly with 6.5.4.

Steven, you know anything about this?
Comment 7 Spies Steven 2008-01-07 17:29:28 UTC
I was not able to reproduce this issue with the latest build of SqueezeCenter 7. I am going to resolve this as worksforme. Please reopen and add additional comments if you are still seeing this.
