If I pause playback using either WebUI or PlayerUI, when I unpause, the song resumes playback, but immediately the volume lowers, causing a little stutter before recovering to play the track.

I have only tried this using playback via a SoftSqueeze player, as my SB2 is unavailable due to a dead PSU.

Richard just checked in a new Softsqueeze, which would definitely be worth checking.

QA to make sure this doesn't happen on a hardware player.

Doesn't seem to happen on a hardware playing.  Closing for now.  Please let us know if this continues to be an issue.
