Description Ted Brady 2007-11-09 13:03:19 UTC
I have FLAC and WAV files ripped as large albums, with associated cue files. In V6.x I name my album art the same name as the music and cue file (i.e. BeatlesAbbeyRoad.jpeg) and specify %FILE in both artwork and artwork thumbnail sections of the server settings/interface. Works great! In V7 the concept of "artwork thumbnail" doesn't seem to exist, so any artwork is only displayed in Now Showing GUI screens, not album art screens that use thumbnails. Where did it go?
Thanks
Ted

cover art and thumbnail are combined as one thing in SC7. You can still use the %FILE naming convention (for as long as that feature lasts). It's under the formatting section of the settings (under the advanced tab)

OK, but not sure where to list thumnails as %FILE too. I'm fine with listing it once but the reality is that thumbnails don't show up in gallery until picked...but I've started a new bug for that (#6114). Maybe it's due to this handling "as one thing in SC7" because I simlply typed "%FILE" under artwork, period. I'll close this bug since artwork DOES show up eventually (so SC7 is obviously finding the %FILE parameter) but it's quite problematic to have to pick each and every one of my albums before they all show up!!.
