I have no idea how to describe this.  The above is my best attempt.

If I am entering a '9' on the pad, when the curser advances it used to default to a blank entry.  It still does but the blank entry is now placed between 8 and 9, instead of between 9 and a.

This is with r821 (nov 6) fw.

Hope that makes sense.

This is the correct behavior, as described in bug 5847 and consistent with Squeezebox.
