Bugzilla – Bug 6055
Make it possible to open sub menus on other actions than "go"
Last modified: 2007-11-24 13:53:33 UTC
It would be nice it was possible to create a Jive browse menu where different menus could be opened dependent on which button you clicked on an item. Currently the only action that will open a sub menu is the "go" action. The result is that it is currently impossible to launch another menu by for example using the "play-hold" action in the same way as mixers are launched by holding play in the SqueezeBox interface. One way to implement this would be to make it possible to specify as a result parameter on the Jive command if a specific action should open a new menu or just execute a CLI command in place. The default could be that "go" opens a new menu, while the other actions execute the command without changing anything in the Jive user interface. This enhancement request is probably required to make it possible to implement: - MusicIP mixer support: https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6022 - Context menu support: https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6021
Let's fold these into a single bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 6021 ***
