Bugzilla – Bug 6036
No way to disable player sleep on jive
Last modified: 2008-05-15 13:00:06 UTC
If no sleep is set for a player, you won't see the option. If sleep is set, it will display an option for cancelling. I'm somewhat limited in what I can do dynamically since this menu is entirely served up by SC, but whatever improvements can be made within that scope... How do you think this should work?
I should also note that the way I currently have it is affected by bug# 5786. When sleep is enabled, there is an actionless menu item at the top that says "Sleeping in X minutes", where X is the remaining minutes before sleep. The menu doesn't work as it is mixed with radio buttons.
the problem i had was i accidentally enabled sleep, but the had no obvious way to disable it. maybe the screen needs to refresh when sleep is enabled, this might be easier after the menu push framework are are currently working on.
fixed in change 15348, mainMenuRework branch. This can be verified after merging this branch back to trunk.
