Description Oscar Marsh 2004-10-01 11:23:05 UTC
I navigate to a playlist on the Live Music Archive plugin and pressing Play on
the remote.

"Problem: can't connect to server for:
track name"

...blinks on and off several times for all tracks in the playlist.

Navigating to a specific track in the playlist via the plugin and pressing Play
gives this in the debug messages:

"Use of uninitialized value in pack at
/Users/kitchen/Library/PreferencePanes/SlimServer.prefPane/Contents/server/Slim/Player/SLIMP3.pm
line 182."

and

"Use of uninitialized value in subtraction (-) at
/Users/kitchen/Library/PreferencePanes/SlimServer.prefPane/Contents/server/Slim/Networking/Stream.pm
line 318."

... repeatedly, and the SLIMP3 display is locked up with flashing error
messages. I have to restart the Slimserver to get back to normal.

has the author of the plugin been made aware of this?
These errors look awfully strange to have been caused by a plugin. I wonder if
they are more an effect of something else.

I can't recall how old this plugin is, so it may be suffering from a lack of
maintenance.

I'm no longer experiencing this problem. The inability to connect to files may
have been due to my ISP having DNS problems the other day. Apologies.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
