Description Alan Young 2007-11-01 08:54:30 UTC
The new skin counts up the time played/remaining, between periodic updates from server, at 1s/s. This looks very odd when in scan mode (FFWD/REW).

currently, there is a [% rate %] param served for the status pane from SC. however, it only has the values "norm", "rew", ffwd". This could be changed to use 1 for regular play, -1 -2 etc for rew, 2 4 etc for fwd. This rate can then be used for the faked progress increments between updates. The jsonrpc response would also need to have the rate added.

Michael says he will have a look.
Comment 3 Michael Herger 2007-11-08 09:00:13 UTC
Alan - would you exped the display only to be updated after the periodic updates?
Comment 4 Alan Young 2007-11-08 09:04:48 UTC
How often are the updates? I guess that would be fine when rate != 1 - who is going to care that much during FFWD/REW?
Comment 5 Michael Herger 2007-11-08 14:00:14 UTC
change 14523 - don't update the song time localy when scanning (ffwd/rew) a song
