Description Craig 2007-10-30 15:46:48 UTC
Default web interface does not display properly on the iPhone safari web browser (iphone v.1.1.1)
The volume button is cut off on the right side, making it impossible to increase volume using touch screen.

This bug was reproducible on a different iPhone with different playlists.

This may sound trivial but being able to control my squeezebox from anywhere using my iphone is something I've been waiting a LONG time to do and the last incarnation of the slimserver kept refreshing, changing the zoom to the default (not good).

The default interface is designed for PCs. Have you tried the handheld or Nokia770 skins?

Yes but until someone actually creates a real webapp optimized for iPhone, the default interface seems to work best - for me that is.
The safari browser on the iphone is really just an optimized pc (as in personal computer) browser, so what works on my mac, should work just fine on the iPhone. In theory of course. It's just slightly off.

thanks

the new interface fixed this.

YEAH!

In fact, the iphone spreads the out the buttons on the player interface so it's actually easier to select button presses.
